New workshop »Leather Belts«
In this workshop, you'll learn some of the basics for successfully and effortlessly crafting simple leather goods. To avoid getting too dry or just theory-based, you'll learn these skills by designing and building a belt.
The following content is taught:
- Basic construction
- Making a custom template out of paper/cardboard (if you want to make the belt for someone else, please measure their waist circumference beforehand)
- Leather cutting
- Edge processing
- Sew saddle stitch by hand or set rivets
- Set buckle
- Create and set loops
The necessary materials are provided and included in the price. We have various leathers (black, dark brown, light brown, red, natural) and buckles (3cm and 4cm wide) available. Of course, we provide the necessary tools free of charge.
The workshop starts at 10 a.m. and lasts approximately three to four hours. It takes place with a maximum of four participants in our shop at Bahnhofstr. 36, 50374 Erftstadt. We work together standing at a large table with sufficient distance between each other.
Please note that we require 2G ( vaccinated or recovered) for all our meetings and workshops, meaning you must be either fully vaccinated or recovered. Please bring appropriate proof to the appointment.
