»Two-tone Patent« with Thorsten Duit
Two-tone rib is one of the most sophisticated knitting techniques. Using different colors and yarn qualities, extraordinary effects can be achieved.
In this four-hour workshop on March 11, 2023, Thorsten will show you how to cast on stitches and what to look for when using this technique. He will also explain how to work increases and decreases in two-color brioche to create effective patterns.
In the second part of the course you can start your own first project.
A sampler will be knitted in the class. Please bring scraps of yarn in size 3-4 and circular knitting needles of the appropriate size, or find something nice in the store. The two yarns used should contrast strongly with each other – single-colored yarns are easier to learn than multi-colored yarns!
