Audria Shawl

Audria Shawl, the new design by the wonderful knitwear designer Inese Sang, is like a soft embrace on a windy evening. Inspired by the simplicity of rounded flower petals and the light, misty twilight of summer evenings, the shawl reflects these elements in its minimal textures and muted contrasts.

Specially designed for low-contrast yarn combinations with soft, understated tones, this design shines in mottled shades.

Audria is a symmetrical, flat, triangular shawl, knitted top down, starting with a garter tab cast-on and regular increases along the edges and central line to achieve its final flat triangular shape.

It features plain pieces in stockinette stitch, along with short, sprout-like lace motifs in the main color (MC), framed on both sides by wavy petal rows in a two-tone pattern. The wavy petal edge is worked with short rows using German short rows and finished with an elastic rib finish.
