Behind the Biches & Bûches brand is a Scandinavian family living in France. Astrid, Caroline, and Louise work with passion and dedication to provide us with the finest natural fibers produced under fair and sustainable conditions. They also create their own designs for this wonderful yarn.

When Astrid began thinking about starting a wool company, she was looking for a yarn to knit her designs with. She was looking for something rustic, in keeping with her Scandinavian roots. A yarn that could be used to knit garments that could be worn for years. A yarn that knits well and feels good to wear. Today, the small family business offers lambswool spun in Scotland, as well as ethically produced mohair and silk yarn from South Africa, and much more.
