Re-Jeans 100 grams

Re-Jeans is something special: It's not just a cotton yarn, it's a recycled cotton yarn. Re-Jeans is made from recycled cotton from denim. The fibers come from jeans manufacturing, where fabric scraps are gradually broken down to individual fibers and cleaned. The fibers are then remixed and spun into yarn. The recycling process gives the yarn a beautifully rustic and appealing texture. It's reminiscent of bourrette silk.

The fibers for Re-Jeans come from India and are spun and dyed in Portugal.

Re-Jeans knits very easily and comfortably; the yarn doesn't split, as is often the case with "plain" cotton. Of course, it's also wonderfully suitable for crocheting!

The vegan yarn is perfect for lightweight summer and fall garments like cardigans and sweaters, but scarves and shawls made from Re-Jeans also make great transitional accessories.
