Sex Sweater

This relaxed 3/4-sleeve sweater plays with the number six: it uses a 6 mm (US 10) needle, a lace design with a repeat of 6 stitches, and the totals are multiples of six. It's inspired by simple Icelandic lace shawls, decorated with bands of lace motifs against a background of stockinette stitch, finished with a loose cast-off edge, typical of Icelandic shawls. It has a very clever construction with an additional lace band over the shoulder blades to add height to the back. A very quick and enjoyable knitting project, available in a wide range of sizes from XXS to 5XL: oh no, that's 10 sizes, not 6!
