Tetsu

ITO Tetsu combines silk with metal. A stainless steel filament twisted with mulberry silk gives the knitted fabric a "memory": It can be pulled into shape.

This absolutely extraordinary yarn invites experimentation. For example, we use it as a filler yarn for scarves because the bows are more attractive to tie, and we also like it when we want to enhance a "main yarn" that would look too floppy without a filler yarn.
