With this book, knitting designer Regina Moessmer solves a problem faced by almost all knitters: the tedious conversion of a pattern when one would prefer to use a different yarn weight. Whether it's a knitting pattern for a sweater, cardigans, or accessories: If you like a design, you'd often like to knit it in other yarns – but not everyone wants to recalculate the gauge and increases and decreases.

"Timeless Knits" therefore contains five basic patterns for classic cardigans and sweaters, which are fully converted and adjusted for the five most common yarn weights. All patterns are knitted using the top-down method.

Regina Moessmer is known for her straightforward designs. What's particularly fascinating about the models in this book is how much the yarn weight used influences the design. The broken seed stitch pattern for Caspar appears very delicate with thin yarn, while the thicker version adds texture to the sweater.
The cable pattern of model Amelie is particularly easy to knit for beginners with the thicker yarn, while advanced knitters will enjoy the fine cables.
